It
took years to develop a shooting style that has become the standard
in the industry today. "I have recorded on video many celebrity
weddings, as well as those of politicians in the past. For two years,
after graduating from UNLV, I worked as a wedding videographer at
a world famous Hotel/Casino in Las Vegas, and loved every minute of
it. I believe in keeping Gordon Video Productions small, so we can
concentrate on each of the clients' wants and needs without losing
that special service that they deserve." |

only there to capture what is happening."
Brandon
does not believe in bright lights and "up close and personal"
cameras in your face on your wedding day. In fact, he describes
his style as shooting in what he refers to as "spy mode."
He captures every facet of the wedding day without being obtrusive
and in the way of guests or other vendors.
"Our
job is like that of a storyteller. From the dress down to the shoes,
the colors, sound and love is represented in such fine detail that
when the video is viewed, a stranger can feel as though they were
a guest at the party."
"Many
video companies think that in order to capture a wedding or event,
they must intrude in the center of activities. In fact, they need
to recognize they are not the focal point. This wedding day is not
for them. It's wrong to take center stage away from the bride and
groom."
Brandon has a hand in every job that he contracts. Whether he is
your primary cameraman or you are working with an associate. Gordon
Video Productions has a full editing suite with the newest and best
non-linear editing systems for wedding/event videography. Brandon
loves the new, advanced systems that let him put forth his editing
talent, and when not shooting, he is Gordon Video's full-time editor.
Lead Videographer, Brandon Gordon is a true believer in the signs
of the times. He is consistently learning and studying about new
video and editing equipment and techniques. He is a member of several
video and broadcasting organizations throughout Chicago and the
country.
Brandon uses a combination of shoulder mounted cameras which are
great for many aspects of a wedding, and small Sony handy-cams are
used depending on the event and environment. All of the equipment
are terrific in various lighting scenarios, especially in low light
situations and outdoor ceremonies or weddings.
