Why is it a great idea to have a Videographer at your wedding or special event?

A videographer not only captures the visual elements, but also the audio elements of your event. Quite often, the Bride and Groom and others participating in the ceremony or reception events do not realize the whole picture until they view the video.

What is the length of the final edited DVD?
The average wedding DVD is usually 2 hours long, and the average Bar/Bat Mitzvah runs approximately 1.5 to 2 hours. The final length of the DVD production ultimately depends on the amount of raw footage captured, the size and length of the event and any particular instructions from the client.

What type of cameras do you use?
Gordon Video Productions use only top of the line JVC, Sony and Panasonic 3CCD camcorders. The low light sensitivity and resolution of this equipment is unbeatable in Event Videography. Our cameras are terrific in very dim lighted rooms, as well as any outdoor or indoor environment.

  What is your shooting style?
In layman's terms, our shooting style would be referred to as "storyteller". Based on a documentary style of shooting, Brandon and his associates capture footage and edit in a storybook format.

"We like to say that people who view the video afterward feel as though they were there even if they were not."

How do you capture great video without being obtrusive?
We are not there to be seen. Our form of shooting allows us to work on all corners of the dance floor. Over the years of shooting events, we have trained ourselves to gather footage without being in the middle of everything. We remain unobtrusive and as a result we are very easy to work with.
